The partnership between Madeira Whale Museum and University of Madeira has been going for several years and is enabling game creation that equip the Museum's Educative Services, contributing to the students learning process.

the importance of this partnership relates to the fact that it enables the developing of activities for children, especially those with special needs (Down Syndrome and Autistic). By the other side is equally important for Madeira University since it enables students contact with external institutions, encouraging them in presenting solutions for the submitted challenges.

In 2014/2015 academic year is being developed a dissertation project named Um jogo educativo para o Museu da Baleia by student Adriano Silva.
